Title: Ash
Genre: Horror
Synopsis: A sleepy, suburban town is being ravaged by the acts of a serial arsonist. As the town sheriff grows closer to discovering the identity of the killer, a secret no one is expecting is revealed.
For this project, I was focused on a minimalistic design. Because of “Ash”, I thought of black and white colors and more of an eerie feel to the assignment. I used the gradient to show an “ashy” look and used the Brush Preset function in Photoshop to create a brush with an ash pattern. I tried to make more spacing between the words to create a feeling of emptiness and loneliness as well. Putting the words in the corner adds to this feeling.
